Etz Ahaim is Sephardic congregation founded in New Brunswick in 1932.
We moved to Highland Park in 1964 and have been a part of this vibrant
community.
Our History Etz Ahaim has a colorful history as Jews from Selonica, Greece moved
into the Central New Jersey area in the 1920s and decided to form a
Sephardic Congregation. Here is a history of some of the charactors who
made Etz Ahaim what it is today and of the Congregation itself.
